Mónika Angyal

Her path

Mónika began her astrology training in 1990 and has worked with birth charts ever since. Five years later she started teaching: while still a university student, then, from 1995 to 2016, as a lecturer at universities in Budapest. Her academic work and her astrology have always fed each other. The symbols of the chart, the sacred buildings of Greece and Rome, the sky the ancient world looked at: for her, these are one subject.

Today she teaches karmic astrology to students in Hungary and, through the Karmic Astrology Course, in English around the world.

How she works

A karmic analysis with Mónika is not a quick personality portrait. She spends two to three hours with a chart before she writes a word. She looks at the lunar nodes, Saturn, Chiron, Lilith, the asteroids and centaurs, the eclipses before your birth, the progressed Sun and Moon, and at how all of these speak to each other. Then she writes it down in plain language, as a story with a direction, not as a list of placements. What a karmic analysis looks at.

Three sentences she likes to quote:

A good astrologer does not paint the devil on the sky.

Behind the cloud that casts its shadow on us is the star that casts its light. (Victor Hugo)

We can master ourselves only by knowing ourselves.
