Ethics: what an analysis can and cannot do

An astrologer learns things about people that they have told no one else. That is why the rules matter more than the method. These are the rules Mónika Angyal has worked by since 1990, and the limits of what a karmic analysis can do.

The rules

1. Never harm anyone with the knowledge. What the chart shows is used to help the person it belongs to, and for nothing else.
2. The client's interest comes first. Not the astrologer's opinion, not what would be more interesting to write, not what the client might want to hear.
3. Professional confidentiality, without exception. Nothing you share is passed on to anyone, not even to your relatives, not even if they ask with the best intentions.
4. The astrologer never decides for the client. An analysis gives you a clearer view. The decision is yours, and it stays yours.
5. No information about the time, place or manner of death. Not yours, not anyone's. Mónika does not look for it and does not answer questions about it.

The limits

• A karmic analysis is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, and it does not replace a doctor. Health can be a topic of an analysis, as a theme in the chart, and it is always worded as a theme, never as a diagnosis.
• It is not legal advice and not financial or investment advice.
• It is not psychotherapy. In a crisis it can offer understanding; it cannot offer treatment. If you are in danger or cannot cope, please contact a doctor or a crisis line first.
• It is not a prediction of events. It describes tendencies, lessons and timing.
• It is not fortune-telling. Mónika does not look for bad news in the sky, and she does not dramatise what she finds.

How we handle your data

Your birth data and your questions are used only to write your analysis. They are not shared with anyone and not used for advertising. On request we delete the correspondence. The privacy policy in the footer describes the legal side; this page describes the professional one, and the professional rule is simple: what you tell your astrologer stays with your astrologer.

What you can ask of us

Plain language instead of jargon. Honesty about what the chart shows and about what cannot be known. An honest recommendation of the smaller analysis when the smaller one is enough. And an answer to your follow-up questions.
